This is another lopsided positions. Lugo plays average defense, Jeter plays stellar defense. Lugo hit .237-8 in 2007, Jeter hit around .315-12. Despite being lopsided now, there is a bright future for Boston, Jed Lowrie. He seems to right off the bat hit .300-15. He also seems like a defensive dazzler. However, Lugo is what the Red Sox have for now, and that is Subpar.
